The deal

Bonkd is a Chrome extension that rewrites article text on web pages you choose to simplify. The free tier gives you 3 articles per week. Pro ($5/month, billed via Stripe) gives you unlimited articles. By installing or using Bonkd, you agree to these terms.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

We may suspend or terminate your access for violations of this section.

Termination

You can stop using Bonkd at any time by uninstalling the extension. We can suspend or terminate access for violations of the Acceptable Use section above, or if continued service is no longer commercially viable, with at least 14 days' notice via email where we have one.

No warranty

Bonkd is provided "as is." AI output is best-effort and may be wrong, incomplete, or out of date. Do not rely on Bonkd for legal, medical, financial, or otherwise consequential decisions. We don't warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, accurate, or free of errors.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to Bonkd is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. For free-tier users, that cap is $0. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute will first be addressed informally by emailing hello@bonkd.app. If we can't resolve it in 30 days, the dispute will be settled by binding arbitration in Delaware, except either party may bring a claim in small-claims court if eligible.

Changes to these terms

We'll update the date at the top when we change anything material and post a notice on the homepage for at least 14 days before changes take effect.
